Personal ProfileBorn in Steubenville, Ohio (notable natives of Steubenville are Dean Martin and the band Wild Cherry (remember Play That Funky Music) and raised in Wellsburg, West Virginia I now reside in New Castle, Kentucky (about 25 miles northeast of Louisville). I graduated from Brooke High School in 1975 (go Bruins). I received a BA from Milligan College (Johnson City, Tennessee) in 1979, majoring in Religion and a minor in Psychology. In 1984 I received the Master of Divinity from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky and in 1991 I received the Doctor of Ministry degree, also from Southern. My wife, Tanya, and I have been married for twenty-two years and have two children, Nick (17) and Tyler (14).
My Personal Mission StatementMy personal mission statement can be found in Matthew 22:37-40: And He said to him, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind". This is the great and foremost commandment. And a second is like it, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself". On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets.
